As I was about to move back to NJ, I tried to sell the car in CA to a CarMax, but my registration in CA is apparently a "goldenrod registration" that does not allow the vehicle to be transferred/sold as it was titled outside of the state of CA.I registered the vehicle in CA in 2018.I then moved to California (CA) in 2018.I registered the vehicle in NJ upon purchasing it.The vehicle was financed through Wells Fargo Auto.I purchased a used vehicle (2014 Jeep Cherokee if relevant) in 2017 in NJ. I was a resident of New Jersey (NJ) until 2018.
